Changing the Course of History, Together

The Global Commons Fund is working to launch Global Governance for All, a new initiative focused on democratic global governance and the stewardship of our shared global commons. To support this effort, the Global Commons Fund is raising funds for a proposed collaboration with with Global Citizen to engage millions of people worldwide in learning about and taking action on these issues.

As part of this proposed collaboration, Global Citizen will engage its global community through educational content and opportunities for interested individuals to learn more about the initiative.

For the past 80 years, the world has lacked a substantial grassroots movement dedicated to advancing democratic global governance. As a result, our global institutions are fragmented and weak, lacking the broad public support needed to help the international community address today’s shared challenges, from protecting the climate and reducing corruption to alleviating poverty, strengthening economic resilience, promoting peace, and navigating emerging issues such as AI governance.

Through this proposed collaboration and with your support, we will create the new movement needed to fix this, and change the course of history.

To help make this collaboration possible, the Global Commons Fund is raising $75,000 to launch the proposed Global Governance for All initiative with Global Citizen.

This White Paper offers a pragmatic roadmap for how philanthropy can catalyze the next generation of global governance, offering concrete innovations in finance, technology, and policy that can secure our common future.
