If you could help save the Amazon rainforest, stabilize the ocean, and prevent rogue AI merely by switching credit cards and paying less in transaction fees, would you do it?
Currently, your credit card is regulated by governments and treaties that don’t have the jurisdiction or systems needed to effectively manage these issues, or those of the wider global commons. Great power competition among nation-states has limited collaboration toward creating a world that works for everyone. Until now.
We are launching the first generation of Global Commons credit and debit cards to give every person around the world a voice in our collective global future.
The Redemption Bank Holding Company has signed up to be one of the first partners to develop and deploy the Global Commons card.
How does it work?
1) JOIN: Sign up for a card and pledge to support responsible management of the global commons.
2) ACCOUNT OPENS: Wait for the issuing bank to confirm your identity, then receive your new card in addition to an account with the Global Commons Fund.
4) SHOP: Use your card as you would any other. Earn points and enjoy discounts. A tiny slice of each transaction will go to the Global Commons Fund to help protect the Amazon, provide for refugees, etc.
You could stop there, or you could go further, and:
5) PARTICIPATE: Join the conversation about management of the global commons and vote, or delegate your vote to others.
6) INFLUENCE: As a consumer you have influence. As a card holder, you advocate for responsible management of the global commons. You help other global citizens, everywhere, to fill a vacuum in global governance and protect the global commons.
Want to see whole vision? Read the White Paper.
Note that the full offering of the Global Commons card is not yet finalized. By signing up today, you’ll receive email updates about our progress, including an invitation to finish your application and open your account with the Global Commons Fund, when it’s ready.
